Gaurav the Friend A Life Built on Trust
In a beautiful village called "Shantivan," there was a forest. In that forest lived a deer named Chanchal and a crow named Dhiiman—both were friends.
Their friendship began in childhood. Chanchal always roamed the forest joyfully, and Dhiiman kept watch over him. However, one day, Chanchal got trapped. The forest guard had set a net and caught him.
Dhiiman, watching from a distance, became anxious. Thinking about what to do, he ran to help Chanchal. After some thought, he devised a plan and freed him from the trap. Chanchal, grateful, said to Dhiiman, "You will always be my protector. I am forever thankful."
Message for children:
"Always trust your friends. Hard times truly test the strength of friendship."
Chanchal’s life returned to normal, but Dhiiman always remained vigilant for his friend. One day, Chanchal came running to Dhiiman, trembling with fear.
"Why are you so scared?" Dhiiman asked.
Chanchal replied, "Today, a lion came to the forest. It was terrifying. I need your help to save my life."
Dhiiman thought for a moment. Realizing the lion’s threat, he came up with a plan. He said to Chanchal, "Stay brave. I will do everything I can to protect you."
Dhiiman approached the lion and cunningly distracted it. Observing the lion’s movements, he led it elsewhere. The lion, ignoring Dhiiman, followed him. Meanwhile, Chanchal found safety.
When the lion realized what had happened, he became furious. But upon seeing Dhiiman’s bravery and clever reasoning, he decided to leave and go elsewhere. Dhiiman returned to Chanchal and said, "In life, intelligence and courage are always necessary. I created this plan for your safety."
Message for children:
"In life, courage and wisdom are essential. Problems can be solved by thinking smartly."
Chanchal was amazed by Dhiiman’s courageous act. He regained his self-confidence. However, a month later, another crisis arose. One day, Chanchal came across a deep pit in the forest. He was afraid to cross it.
Dhiiman approached and encouraged him, "Chanchal! Be fearless and complete the task you have started."
Chanchal gathered his strength. Bravely, he crossed the pit. Dhiiman encouraged him again, saying, "Your self-confidence has grown. Every difficulty in life is a challenge, but only a brave mind can overcome it."
Chanchal said to Dhiiman, "Your bravery is my guide. My life has taken a new path."
He took a deep breath, embraced his self-confidence, and began to roam the entire forest with renewed commitment. He felt deeply satisfied and relied on the strength of his friendship with Gaurav.
Moral of the Story:
"Those who face challenges with bravery will find happiness."
