Nayanjali: A Unique Story of Friendship
In a beautiful village, there was a place where everyone lived together, finding happiness in their shared experiences. There was a boy named Nayan, who was simple, calm, and had a very sensitive heart.
Everyone tried to befriend Nayan, but one sad event changed his life.
One week, Nayan saw a large tree standing nearby and had a strange thought. Deep in thought, he contemplated starting a project with determination. The subtle size of the tree filled him with both joy and sorrow.
Although deaf people read words, the tree’s gentle nature, philosophically dear, united with Nayan’s poetic essence.
Nayan’s heart was deeply saddened. The old tree, once lush and green, had now become fragile and dry. Nayan began a conversation with the tree, pouring out his love and making a heartfelt promise to it.
“Dear tree! You have always been with me. When I was lonely, you considered me your friend. But now, you are not happy! Will you leave me?” Nayan said with sorrow and reverence.
The old tree softly replied, “Dear Nayan, your words are true. I am now dry, but I know that I don’t only need your care. You, too, need to spend time with me. I don’t want you to leave me. You can help give me new life.”
Nayan felt tears welling up in his eyes. The tree had given him a new perspective. He realized that life is not just about seeking help from others, but also about offering support.
With firm resolve, Nayan decided to care for the tree, give it new life, and, in doing so, discover his own inner strength.

Nayan had resolved to care for the tree, but the task was not easy. Every day, he visited the tree, watered it, and made extra efforts to keep its roots moist. Gradually, the tree began to come back to life. Its branches started turning green again, and its leaves became lively.
Nayan saw the fruits of his efforts, and he had tears in his eyes, but these were tears of joy. He realized that when we support someone with complete dedication, that support comes back to us.
One day, Nayan saw several small children playing under the tree. They were finding shelter and resting in its shade. Nayan understood that the tree was now providing peace and comfort to others as well.
Nayan approached the tree and said, “You have taught me so much. You have shown me that helping others and loving them with a true heart is the real meaning of life. Now, you are not just a tree to me, but an inspiration—a friend who has shown me the true meaning of life.”
The tree gently waved its branches and replied, “Your care and love have brought me to life, Nayan. You did something for me that I never expected. I will always be with you, in your soul, in every step of your life.”
Nayan listened to the tree’s words and took a deep breath. He now understood that true friends are those who support us in our difficulties and give us the greatest gift of life—love and support.
